Creating a job fit score to save time & improve quality

Challenge

TDCX, a global leader in BPO services and customer experience, wanted to improve the effectiveness of the recruitment process and the quality of hires. An explainable fit score, identifying potential high and low performers, allows them to do just that.

Approach

To create the customised fit score, we first analyzed employee performance data and their behavioural profiles. Based on these insights, we built a hybrid model consisting of machine learning and a rules-based engine to come up with an explainable fit score. Thereafter, we built a recommendation engine to provide recruiters with a list of potential risks per candidate given their behavioural profile and the requirements of the role. 

Impact

Our customised job fit score created a more efficient workflow for recruiters, allowing them to save time and improve the quality of hires, as they know who to prioritise and what to focus on.
